Now placing analyzers · Flu season 2026-27

Flu A, Flu B and COVID-19 answered in 15 minutes, in your office.

Your practice promises same-day care. A send-out result breaks that promise, and the patient finishes their care somewhere else. In-office rapid PCR turns that lost visit into an ancillary line you own, with no analyzer to buy and no lease to sign.

One swab. Three answers. In the exam room.

01

Why PCR in the room

Rapid antigen tests miss early and low-viral-load infections, so clinicians either treat blind or send a PCR out and wait a day or more. Antivirals work best inside 48 hours. By the time the send-out result lands, the patient has gone to urgent care, the pharmacy or the emergency department, and the visit, the treatment and the follow-up went with them.

With PCR in the room, the patient is swabbed at check-in and has a confirmed Flu A, Flu B or COVID-19 result before the clinician finishes the exam. Treatment starts in the same visit. The test runs under the practice's own CLIA Certificate of Waiver, and the practice keeps the visit, the treatment and the follow-up.

What the practice gets

An analyzer at every site
Placed at $0 with no lease and no purchase. Add a second at sites open evenings or weekends. Each analyzer carries a 500-test annual volume commitment; below that the manufacturer may recover the unit, and that is the only consequence.
Launch order
80 tests per analyzer, including the starter kit and controls, charged before the analyzer ships.
One published price
One published per-test price for every site, below the distributor list price, with pack options to match volume. Groups earn a rebate on aggregate purchases. Room-temperature storage, 12-month shelf life.
Direct shipment
Supplies ship from the distributor straight to each site, standard ground included. Reorder by portal, email or phone.
Onboarding and support
One checklist per site, including its CLIA waiver. Remote installation and technical support from the manufacturer; account support from Core Ascent.
Clinical, billing and marketing kit
SOP for medical directors, coding reference for the billing team, co-branded patient flyers the practice controls.

What it's worth to one site

Test revenue is the payer rate collected minus the test cost, multiplied by season volume. A shoulder-hours primary care site runs a few hundred tests a season; an extended-hours urgent care runs closer to a thousand; a two-analyzer site can run well past that. Practices whose patient mix skews older collect at a higher national rate and keep more per test.

Payer contracts set the real figure, and we walk through it with your numbers before you sign. The larger number is the visit itself: every patient with a same-day answer is one who did not leave for urgent care.

How it works

  1. Sign the program agreement and list your sites. Each site is a schedule with its address, contact and CLIA number.
  2. Each site confirms its CLIA Certificate of Waiver. No certificate, no analyzer; we send the checklist and the site joins when it is ready.
  3. Core Ascent registers each site for direct shipment and submits the analyzer placement with the manufacturer.
  4. The launch order is charged and the analyzer ships with its starter kit, tracking and the support line.
  5. Site staff set up from the manufacturer's instructions with remote support. First patients are tested the same week.
  6. Reorders ship in days. Groups with central ordering place one order for every site through the Core Ascent portal.

Who it fits, and when

Primary care, pediatrics, urgent care and any specialty practice whose clinicians treat respiratory illness. Multi-site groups, MSOs and IPAs sign once and place many. Every site needs a CLIA Certificate of Waiver; a few states add a registration step, and we flag those at intake.

Flu activity in the South peaks December into February; the Northeast and Midwest run two to four weeks behind, and every market carries an influenza B tail into April. A site live by mid-November catches the whole season. Later signers still get the back half and the B wave.

Ready when you are
